Rasberry Trifle

This recipe is so good and as kids we loved it!!! It has more ingriedients than most moms like... but it is delicious and kids like it, i use strawberries instead of rasberries too sometimes.. this is jsut better than having cookies and ice cream all the time!! So i thought i would post it!!

Mom’s Raspberry Trifle

1(5 ¼ pkg.) instant vanilla pudding
1 pt. whipping cream
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 16 oz. jar seedless raspberry preserves

½ cup slivered almonds
½ cup fresh raspberries

Make pudding according to directions on package. Whip cream to soft peaks, then add sugar and vanilla, whip till stiff peaks. Fold ½ whipped cream into pudding. Warm preserves till liquid (not hot). Tear cake into bite size pieces. Layer in large bowl: ½ cake, ½ preserves (drizzling all over the cake), ½ almonds, ½ raspberries, ½ puddings. Repeat layers.
